Carex bicknellii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Carex bicknellii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1896.
