Carex coriophora merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Carex coriophora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Ernst Ludwig von Fischer pada tahun 1837.
