Carex hispida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Mediterania. Nama ilmiah Carex hispida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1801.
