Carex laxa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan weak sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex laxa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Göran Wahlenberg pada tahun 1803.
