Carex lupulina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hop sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex lupulina diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg pada tahun 1805.
