Carex lurida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shallow sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex lurida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Göran Wahlenberg pada tahun 1803.
