Carex mannii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis. Nama ilmiah Carex mannii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eileen Adelaide Bruce pada tahun 1933.
