Carex olivacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Nama ilmiah Carex olivacea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Francis Boott pada tahun 1846.
