Carex oreocharis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan grassyslope sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex oreocharis pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1900.
