Carex pachystachya adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan chamisso sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex pachystachya pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1855.
