Carex pendula adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hanging sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex pendula diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Hudson pada tahun 1762.
