Carex petasata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan liddon sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex petasata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Chester Dewey pada tahun 1836.
