Carex podocarpa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shortstalk sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex podocarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Brown pada tahun 1823.
