Carex scirpoidea var. stenochlaena merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Alaska hingga Amerika Serikat barat laut. Nama ilmiah Carex scirpoidea var. stenochlaena pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1904.
