Carex stenophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Carex stenophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Göran Wahlenberg pada tahun 1803.
