EASTERN STRAW SEDGE Carexstraminea Willd. ex Schkuhr
Carex straminea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian utara-tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan eastern straw sedge. Nama ilmiah Carex straminea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1801.
