Carex thinii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Carex thinii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Bruce A. Ford pada tahun 2017.
