Carex trichodes merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Chili selatan dan selatan-tengah, Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Carex trichodes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernst Gottlieb von Steudel pada tahun 1875.
