Carex trichophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Carex trichophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernest Nelmes pada tahun 1955.
