Carica augusti adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Caricaceae (suku pepaya-pepayaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru (Ayacucho). Nama ilmiah Carica augusti diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Harms pada tahun 1931.
