Carpha alpina merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik). Nama ilmiah Carpha alpina diperkenalkan oleh Robert Brown pada tahun 1810.
