Carphephorus paniculatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hairy chaffhead. Nama ilmiah Carphephorus paniculatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Friedrich Gmelin pada tahun 1968.
