Carpotroche brasiliensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Achariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Carpotroche brasiliensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Giuseppe Raddi pada tahun 1854.
