Carthamus dianius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Spanyol timur, Baleares (Ibiza, Formentera). Nama ilmiah Carthamus dianius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philip Barker Webb pada tahun 1846.
