Carthamus leucocaulos adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kepulauan Aegea. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan whitestem distaff thistle. Nama ilmiah Carthamus leucocaulos pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis James Edward Smith pada tahun 1813.
