Carum heldreichii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Yunani (Sterea Ellas). Nama ilmiah Carum heldreichii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1856.
