Caryocar edule adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Caryocaraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Bahia hingga Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Caryocar edule pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Giovanni Casaretto pada tahun 1844.
