Casearia novoguineensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Casearia novoguineensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Theodoric Valeton pada tahun 1907.
