Cassia johannae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Komoro. Nama ilmiah Cassia johannae diperkenalkan oleh Wilhelm Vatke pada tahun 1880.
