Cassia thyrsoidea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga Malawi bagian tengah. Nama ilmiah Cassia thyrsoidea diperkenalkan oleh John Patrick Micklethwait Brenan pada tahun 1958.
