Cassytha rufa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan holoparasit dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Queensland. Nama ilmiah Cassytha rufa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Zvonko Weber pada tahun 1981.
