Cattleya guttata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di tanah (geofit) atau menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit) dan membentuk bonggol menyerupai umbi lapis (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Cattleya guttata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Lindley pada tahun 1831.
