Cattleya nobilior merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit) dan membentuk umbi semu (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Cattleya nobilior pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach pada tahun 1883.
