Cattleya praestans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit) dan membentuk bonggol menyerupai umbi lapis (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo). Nama ilmiah Cattleya praestans diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach pada tahun 2008.
