Cattleya tenebrosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit) dan membentuk umbi semu (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Bahia tenggara hingga Espírito Santo). Nama ilmiah Cattleya tenebrosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Allen Rolfe pada tahun 2006.
