Cecropia obtusa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Urticaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Guianas hingga Brazil utara dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cecropia obtusa diperkenalkan oleh Auguste Trécul pada tahun 1847.
