Celtica gigantea subsp. sterilis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Portugal (Cabo de San Vicente). Nama ilmiah Celtica gigantea subsp. sterilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Francisco María Vázquez pada tahun 2004.
