Celtis pallida merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Cannabaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Selatan Serikat, Meksiko, Karibia, Brazil, hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Celtis pallida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Torrey pada tahun 1859.
