Cenchrus hohenackeri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian timur, Madagaskar, anak benua India. Nama ilmiah Cenchrus hohenackeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Ferdinand Friedrich Hochstetter pada tahun 2010.
