Cenchrus multiflorus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Cenchrus multiflorus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jan Svatopluk Presl pada tahun 1830.
