Cenchrus rigidus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Cenchrus rigidus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 2010.
