Centaurea chrysantha merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Türkiye. Nama ilmiah Centaurea chrysantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gerhard Wagenitz pada tahun 1972.
