Centaurea leptophylla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye timur laut. Nama ilmiah Centaurea leptophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Heinrich Emil Koch pada tahun 1860.
