Centaurea polyacantha adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Mediterania barat dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Centaurea polyacantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1803.
