Centaurea verutum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Lebanon hingga Israel. Nama ilmiah Centaurea verutum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1755.
