Cerastium tomentosum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Italia (Appennini tengah dan selatan), Corse, Sicilia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan snow in summer. Nama ilmiah Cerastium tomentosum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
