Cercis canadensis subsp. mexicana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas barat daya hingga Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cercis canadensis subsp. mexicana diperkenalkan oleh Joseph Nelson Rose pada tahun 1982.
