Cerdia virescens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Cerdia virescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Mariano Mociño pada tahun 1828.
