Cestrum martii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cestrum martii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Otto Sendtner pada tahun 1846.
