Cestrum megalophyllum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan, Peru, Lesser Antilles, hingga Guyana. Nama ilmiah Cestrum megalophyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michel Félix Dunal pada tahun 1852.
